Milk

The White Jug

The reason we use the white jug is because research has proven that the quality of milk in a regular plastic container begins to degrade when exposed to sunlight. With the white jug we’re protecting the milk from light. This light can be from sunlight or the artificial light in your refrigerator.  Vitamin A, C and B begin to breakdown when exposed to light, this gives milk an off flavor. Generally speaking, this is oxidation, light induced flavor. The white jugs give our customers the best tasting milk. The only companies using the white jug are the Quality Chekd dairies in the state of Oregon. We feel it’s worth the extra money to give our customers the best possible taste.

Milk

Our most popular product is our milk. We have 4 different milks: homogenized, 2%, 1% and skim. We offer the convenient Grab 'n Go pints,  poplular because it fits in most car cup holders. These come in 2% milk, chocolate and strawberry. Our sizes for milk are gallons, 1/2 gallons, quarts, pints and the 1/2 pints that we serve to local schools.

Chocolate Milk

Chocolate Milk

For our Chocolate Milk, our cocoa powder is mixed in with our milk before it’s pasteurized, also putting in sugar and stabilizers allows for more “mouth feel”. Then we pasteurize and homogenize everything together.   This process suspends flavor and color throughout the products. Our process is not standard for the industry and that is why you do not need to "Shake before you drink".

Egg Nog

Our quest for producing the best quality product doesn’t stop with milk; we are extremely proud of our award-winning Egg Nog. To get our extremely smooth flavor, our Egg Nog is made with only the best spices and the finest ingredients. Don't settle for anything but the best for all your holiday events.

Our regular Egg Nog is 6% milkfat, which comes in 1/2 gallon, quart and convenient Grab n' Go pint sizes. We also offer a Lite Egg Nog at 2% in 1/2 gallon size.

Whipping Cream

Our 38% heavy whipping cream is pasteurized, not ultra-pasteurized. Pasteurized will provide a better flavor, will whip up fluffier, and will hold up longer. As ultra-pasteurized whipping cream has been heated to above 280 degrees F. to extend its shelf life, it is more temperamental when it comes to whipping. We recommend our thick, rich, heavy whipping cream for topping your cakes and pies. It is also used for gravy, sauces and baking. For real whipped cream, insist on Eberhard's. Available in 1 gallon jugs, pints & ½ pints.
